Back in the ancient history of time (so long ago, that the game is not listed as an option in the project system) Battlefront released an expansion for Flames of War based on the Vietnam war. Back in 2013 (according to the original article) Tour of Duty was released and I brought into the game building up a Black Horse (11th Armoured) Division. The main reason for going Black Horse was the lack of a need to paint more 15mm infantry than I already had for my Flames of War 8th Army.
Overtime I decided to expand the army with an ANZAC company on the side with Centurion V’s to give me some heavier tanks and infantry. I also purchased a Huey Hog an a Huey Cobra, when I went to Broadside earlier this year I picked up another Hog along with a Slick in the bring and buy. So I decided it was time to dust off the army and get round to painting them up. I’ll photograph the painted Black Horse during the project, but the first step was to finish the assembly of the helicopters and the second ANZAC Mortar Platoon.
Photo’s will follow soon.
