Let’s start with the basics, get some troops built.

Having the new Forgeworld mk6 heads and shoulders will really help to give these 40 marines some character.

I figure the easiest way to tackle a project like this is to approach it methodically. For the troops there are 40 marines; 5 poses spread across 8 sprues. As the poses look to require specific parts I chose to build all 8 copies of each pose one at a time, so starting with pose 1 all parts needed are removed into a tray and then cleaned up ready to be built. The mould lines should all be in the same place so spending a little longer on the 1st piece to see the orientation of the moulding makes it easier to then trace it around the model and then repeat for all other copies of that piece.
