The Big Stocktake
15mm Ancient Macedonians
So this was an easy choice to do next as I already have a Project for this army on the go and I’m keen to get it finished because it feels a little like I’m double dipping at the moment.
The figures are from Forged in Battle
The first half of my 15mm Ancients project is the Macedonians.
My little army consists of;
40 x Companion Cavalry
320 x Sarissa Armed infantry
40 x Hypaspists
146 Mercenary Heavy Infantry
12 x Heavy Mercenary Cavalry
24 x Light Cavalry
26 x Skirmishers
608 Figures so far.
In the to-do pile I have 79 figures to go, consisting of;
12 x Skirmish Cavalry
12 x Mercenary Heavy Cavalry
48 x Light Infantry
7 x Commanders
After that I need to go around and tidy up all the bases and paint all the edges.
A total of 687 models.

Got to love how those little steel spears an an extra level of risk to playing the game.
Just don’t set them next to your bed and fall out of said bed in the night… XD
