Before and After Soviet Fuel Drum Objective Markers.
Last time I visited Warren and Justin at the Ontabletop store in Coleraine, I spotted these cheeky chaps and I had to buy them. I like to have characterful objective markers that add colourful narrative to my games of Bolt Action.
In this case I have modelled them on 4Ground  60mm circular bases, with Warlord ‘Tank Damage Marker’ flames.
At this point of the War German was desperate for fuel. I particularly like the idea of having this objective marker count double if the Germans can capture it, and the Soviet’s being able to destroy it (with an hit from an heavy weapon or flame marker) and enact their policy of scorched earth on the table top.
This was a really fun little projects, and I intend to manufacture more for other theatres such as the Western Dessert, Normandy, the Far East Jungles and Snow for the Battle of the Bulge.
The Kit supplies intact barrels and lidless barrels which is perfect, as barrels tend to have the lids blown of when they get hit and burst into flames.
