Last year I painted up Perturabo for a talent show. I left the hammer off so I could use him Pre-Heresy since a few of us would like to play Astartes v Xenos at some point.
The base is just for display, Perturabo is played on a 40mm base.
As far as 30K deaths go crushed alive by your Titan then shot in the head is as close to painless as you're going to get.
