Making a start
I make start and my first mistake, making the base I started in one corner measuring the angles and length of each side and then cutting those out. Once I had got all the way round I found I was out by quite a bit and this meant the back of the base was too narrow, I should have marked it all out before making the cuts. Lesson learned there.
I’ve made my first bit of wall as well (Zen should be in the hole) with a corridor on left and the view screen on the right. Deciding on the height of the walls not something that is shown on the TV show or in the plans, you never really see much above the top of Zen so I added a bit extra but i might cur that down later.
