@zorg – Without getting too high on my political soapbox, the original issues with the Bradley’s requirements, specifications, design, and procurement (way back in the mid 80s) stem MOSTLY from an argument over what the vehicle should be required to do. The vehicle it was replacing was the M113 – which could carry 12-13 troops. It was an APC, it was supposed to carry troops.
