Some Silver Bayonet
Basing - at last
I took a bit of time to overthink the basing. Minis like the guerilla and priest (plus the vampires to come) take up a lot of space in the middle, so any standard-sized tufts would be pushed to the side.
So I got some smaller tufts and some old fashioned flock (fine turf from Woodland Scenics) and had a play.
I created a couple of blank bases and had a go with tiny tufts and merely small tufts. I preferred the small but I’ll keep the tiny ones handy for bases really short of room.
The greenness has drowned the goblins a bit but they’ll do. The zombies look a load better for it – it’s really brought them to life, as it were.
I have a couple of batches outstanding: the Spanish team and the bandits/guerillas. Each of these has a second batch to follow so I’ll finish the basing of each batch when those are done.
