Back to the Back of Beyond
A start is made
I originally got into this period as at the time they were released I was a huge fanboy of Mark Copplestones sculpting, and when he stopped his freelance work for the likes of Grenadier, Wargames Foundry amongst many others and started his own company Copplestone Castings, the first releases was for a period that I knew nothing about. The website did however recommend reading “Setting the East Ablaze”, which I duly read and was immediately transported to a fantastic pulpy world of spies, bandits, warlords and madmen.
I have had a few miniatures for several years and with a small purchase I now have a small Bolshevik force and a few adventurers to paint.
This will be followed up by a Small Chinese Warlord/Bandit force.
I have finished the FT17 and am about to finish the Siberian Rifle squad, I will post an update later today or tomorrow when these are done.
Sad to hear you lost your collection. But you are certainly doing these justice. Hope you get some games in.
