I am starting on working through the beautiful buildings from the last Baron’s War 3 Kickstarter, the Wimentum Village and have finished the first part of the village set, the Church. I have loved working on this building and it has been real fun to build and paint. The Church is St Oswald’s in the game which is a lovely digitally sculpted early medieval church, which can be used for other periods and games, I think real up to the mid 18th century, Jacobites anyone.
It is a dream to build and paint, simple to build, no issues and very intuitive. Painting wise it takes washed and drybrushes very well. Its nicely details and it is quite large compared to other buildings as it is closer to true 28mm scale as are all the buildings in the set but that’s no problem as buildings do come in different sizes. I am looking forward to painting the rest of the village.
