Blood Bowl = an over dose of Teams
Scyla Anfingrimm
I have to admit from the moment I saw this on Warhammer Community I loved this miniature.
Ben (not OTT’s Ben but another Ben – what is it about the world of hobby that draws Ben’s inexplicably to it?) on the Bonehead Podcast believes this mini was sculpted by the guy who use to be Winzor Chog. For those that don’t know Winzor Chog was a 3rd party company producing Blood Bowl minis. Sadly I never got to buy any before the owner went to work for GW.
Anyway, regardless of all of that, this is super fun.
I don’t normally go on about how I painted stuff on this project, I leave that to my Golden Button* winning Primarch Project, but I thought it was worth mentioning how i cocked this up.
I followed Forgeworld’s recipe for the flesh.
Screamer Pink, Drakenhof Nightshade, Pink Horror.
However my Pink Horror highlights on the left arm were so bad it almost caused me to reach for the nail polish remover and start again. In stead what I did was wash the arm in Carroborg Crimson, and then volpus pink contrast. I think it saved it.
*shameless self promotion that may go on for a long time now
