Just looked up the history of the word arquebus: apparently it’s originally from Middle Dutch ‘haecbusse’, which became modern Dutch ‘haakbus’. I guess it means that these guys must really know what they’re doing 😉 (Sorry for bothering you with this bit of trivia, but I just had to share it.)
I really lke the bright colours on the minis. The feathers and bows go really nicely with the Autumn leaves.
No bother. 🙂
I also think the orange of the feathers and sashes the Dutch wore goes well with the colours of autumn.
