This whole Battalion was painted about 8 -9 years ago, for a campaign I was going do set around the era of early Jihad ( before any of fiction had appeared other than some mentions when Mechwarrior Darkage appeared from Wizzkids)

I had wanted a House Regiment as a change from my Mercs and for some reason picked 7th Fedcom RCT ( Kevin being more Steiner orientated went for 5th Donegal Guards as their symbol was a red star and he had loads of Soviet Decals.

All are Iron Winds either Brought direct or via Ral Partha Europe (John holds up a cross,)

I did them as on parade ( it fitted original scenario we were going to do) mainly as I hadn’t a John to give tips at time  and two I’,m crap at it.

I have for this photo session sorted them into impromptu lances as although I had an original Lance orbat for them it’s got lost in the annals of time.

So 2sty the Recon Lances

The medium lances (I think)

I really like the 7th Fedcom colour scheme. It’s very striking – I’m a St.Ives Compact player and I have gone with the the St.Ives Lances – because I like the decals. I also like the name tags on the basis – a great idea.
