When creating Thomas’s D&D adventuring group of miniatures, I added a halfling to the team. They good fun to play in a RPG and most minis available are full of character. So I did indeed ferret around in the loose figures box and found a lot of halflings from Citadel Miniatures and Midlam Miniatures and picked a plucky three to join the Dwarf Gladiator, Questing Knight and the Vengeful Bride…

“Tim, Tom and Kevin Proudfoot” “Tim, Tom and Kevin Proudfoot”
‘Tim Proudfoot’ - model chosen Citadel Miniatures C11 Halfling Cecil Ogre Slayer (cloaked) 1984 Sculptor Alan Perry. Mounted on a 30mm lipped base and flocked. I love this little guy attempting to emulate the Questing Knight with a saucepan for a helmet and an officer’s cloak. I used a Night Lords Warhammer 40K Shoulder pad transfer on the shield to add a bit of extra character. ‘Tim Proudfoot’ - model chosen Citadel Miniatures C11 Halfling Cecil Ogre Slayer (cloaked) 1984 Sculptor Alan Perry. ‘Tom Proudfoot’ - model chosen Citadel Miniatures C11 Halfling unnamed variation of Cecil 1984 Sculptor Michael Perry. A cool variation from the Perry Twins with the cloak removed and a cooking pot replacing the saucepan for the helmet. Again a Chaos Space Marine transfer used on the shield but this time an Alpha Legion insignia. ‘Tom Proudfoot’ - model chosen Citadel Miniatures C11 Halfling unnamed variation of Cecil 1984 Sculptor Michael Perry. ‘Big Kev’ (Kevin Proudfoot) - model chosen Midlam Miniatures Halfling with Mace Sculpted by Josef Ochmann Model:  C1024c Another great mini from Midlam Miniatures and I chose him because his breast plate armour links him to the Tim and Tom the twins pretty well to establish a brotherly threesome. Kevin’s expression is a tad gormless, so perhaps he’s not blessed with a high Intelligence or Wisdom or that he couldn’t find another kitchen pan for a helmet! Great fun painting these three, blending old minis with new ones. The Adventurers gather… Next up… I think we need some ‘evil’ options to consider playing? Anyhow, another three miniatures removed from the pile of shame… still 300+ to go! ???The Adventurers gather… Next up… I think we need some ‘evil’ options to consider playing?
