A little background
From about 2008-2016 I fell really into collecting Tau. I mean really into collecting Tau.
What I loved most about the Tau was that they (whether altruistically or using mind control) created alliances with all kinds of other alien races. Aside from Kroot, Vespid and Humans – the codexes detailed so many other weird aliens we’ll never see.
I tried to add lots of these to my army, to the extent that creating weird detachments of aliens overtook the actual core army build.
A Krynoid for example.Anyway, a few life events got in the way of hobby for a while and when I came back, sci-fi and Tau just left me cold.
All the miniatures starting this project log have been in boxes for 4-5 years. There is some damage, and even some glue discolouration on unpainted models. Over these posts I’ll be showing the full inventory of everything.
Then, I am going to be giving away this whole army to an OTTer who is willing to pledge that they want to complete a Tau army, and to then take over this project. I’d prefer the recipient to not split and eBay it, but I know that will be out of my hands.
