I painted 72 macedonian phalangites.

After priming I painted the clothes and most armour in a mixture of dessert yellow and skeleton bone. I also painted the skin barbarian flesh.

I then painted the shields, armour and helmets in a mixture of  weapon bronze and desert yellow and highlighted it up to pure weapon bronze.

Finnally I used strong tone ink on the clothes and skin and highlighted the most raised edges with the original colours.

The models did not come with their spears and I am not sure how to make them. I have seen broomstick or modelling wire been suggested but I think I will leave this stage until I decide on the easiest course of action.
