Angels of Stealth - Spring Clean Edition
Stripped
In typical fashion my progress is glacial, due mostly to my attention being required elsewhere. Still, I thought I’d post an update as I’ve managed some work at least.
Any old paint has been stripped as much as possible, Isopropyl Alcohol did the job on all but the metal scout. Goodness knows what it had been primed with as it ended up being on the business end of a brake fluid bath to strip, it now still requires some flashing and mould line clean-up and a new base.
The five tactical marines were quickly thrown together back in ’08 so were never cleaned up or primed. So far this has now only been done on the sergeant.
Has to be about ten years since I started and subsequently abandoned the bike squadron, at the time I green stuffed some battered paving on their bases which has survived and I think I’ll keep, might throw some astrogranite debris on there so they match better with the rest of the army though.
Hopefully I can get more done over the weekend, although it pains me to admit I may end up having to work on the garden (?)
