Here he is. I was thinking of converting him to female because my entire army is female. However, I decided to keep him original, mostly because he has no place in the current army, and he is OOP.
I think this was the first Finecast model that I have ever done. I can see why people hated it, but it is basically just a resin model – with all the resin problems that you’re gonna’ find…
In this case, his throne was warped badly, you might see some of it in the pic. I soaked it in hot water and torqued it a bit, but it was still somewhat warped.
Sooo… when are you painting it all? 😉
Well, I prefer to paint large armies in assembly-line fashion. I wont start painting until all the troops are based and all the vehicles built. For the troops I still have two squads of Seraphim – one of which I am going to convert to Zephyrim – as well as a squad of Celestians, that need basing. Also, I want to perch the jump units on bits of ruins and statuary, so that’s going to take some extra modeling.
