Base colours doneSo after 8 months of doing sweet nothing with this set of minis I finally had a gap in my hobby that I could get them started on. I wanted them to be a really decent tabletop standard but quick enough to paint that they didn’t big me down for too long.
So I decided to follow Duncan Rhodes painting guide from his free videos on YouTube. It’s a fab guide and although I changed a couple of paints (I don’t use Army Painter paints yet) I followed him pretty exactly. It took a full day to base colour the troops but one the washes were done, the highlighting is super quick.
They’re almost done. One unit needs just the silver and gold finished off and the rest are only 3 steps behind So I am really pleased with progress.
Maybe I will eventually get them in the table too ?
