Monsters each have a 'control board' this board helps decide what actions a monster will take when it activates.Monsters each have a 'control board' this board helps decide what actions a monster will take when it activates.
You simply spin the pointer and where it lands describes the action the monster is going to take. You simply spin the pointer and where it lands describes the action the monster is going to take.

I love spinners for kids games. I agree about the increased sense of excitement as the arrow flies around the perimeter. Bonus is the fine motor development exercise for tiny hands and fingers. One reason I like teaching kids crokinole and other flicking games. I do think the backside should have a matching grid in which every picture is Farmer Brown but then I am an odd one.
