Got word from Titan Forge and sorted out the shipping. I will see these Amazons in resin. It’ll just take a while. In the meantime I completely forgot about creating this project and doubled up on the entries. Well, things happen.

Right now I think that I’ll give a little bit of the developing background to the Cococuqui (Koh-Koh-kuh-kooee) a gathering of women deep in the heart of the Axolotl jungles where they live in tenuous peace with their surroundings. In their untamed realm they have come to revere, respect and, on the rare instance under the sway of legendary heroes, command terrible thunder beasts adding unmatched fury to their ranks.

There is but a small division within the ranks of these ladies as there are two notable branches to an otherwise cohesive culture. This all stems from the ever important question of which end is best to carry cacao pods by when harvesting them (similar to other cultures in the debate on which end to eat a poached egg by). The cacao pod is central to many aspects of Cococoqui life as a means of establishing economic standing by commercial trade of such things related to self care that one might remain radiant in the sweltering heat of the jungle. The upper crust of society enjoys the delicacy known as chocolate from a labor intense process of combining cacao with sugar which is quite the gift to receive (or show off in giving) when social functions occur.

As described there is the northern Cococichi (Koh-koh-chee-chee) who have come to the conclusion that in harvesting cacao, carrying pods “top” up/bottom down is best as it is most natural for them as that’s how they grew so that the essence of the cacao pod might be preserved. The southern Coconalga (Koh-koh-nahl-ga), however, see the matter to be the other way around. Their ideal maner to carry harvested pods would be “top” down/bottom up as they have been removed from the tree and should be treated as entities separate from the source.

There are rumors of a splinter group that suggest scrapping the debate entirely and just holding the pods stacked on their sides as they are carried away. These rebels to the longstanding dispute are loathed by both sides for their temerity to a good old fashioned feud and are seldom seen as it is a quick way to become ostracized from either of the clans.
