Hi everyone,

I used to collect the Eaglemoss Marvel figurines many years ago, but I stopped as I saw that the quality of the production was getting worse over time.

I have decided to embark on a project where I choose several of the better sculpted figures and try to improve them for single model showcase pieces.

I started with Wolverine and I was so please with the result that I decided to chronicle the rest of the work here.

My next model is Ben Grim, aka The Thing from the Fantastic Four.  One of the best in the Eaglemoss Classic Collection.

I begin the process with stripping the model bare and fixing the cast.  This consists of filling holes and sanding.

I then give the model a coat of Tamiya Surface Primer in order to detect any other defects.  If I do, I re-sand and fix what I can and then re-prime.

The model is now ready to paint.  I have fixed as much as I could or wanted to, now I will start to work on the base.

I will post that next week.

Regards,
