Preview sprueSo this morning I received a mystery box in the mail. Thinking it was something I had ordered a while ago and forgot about. I was really excited to open the box and find a preview plastic sprue for Dystopian Wars. I need to get it built about and ready to paint.

Thanks for sharing this, I saw the recent update with the spru from Warcradel and the tech raptor article but it’s grand that you have also put it up so it can be looked at. Very much looking forward to the relaunch of Dystopian Wars and then the Lost World Exodus range to follow. Im glad to see they don’t look flimsy, they seem from what I can see the same standard of plastic moulding GW use for titanicus and aeronautica. I am brand new to.the game, but I played last year at UKGE and I was just blown away by how fun it was. I have been keeping a chunk of money set aside for it since then. It almost went to KoW Armada but I persevered and it has been rewarded in kind. Now I just need to build them
There’s some people on Facebook who would disagree with me but I think you are coming in at just the right time. I haven’t had chance to play the revision but by looking at the beta and the let’s play video and turn round video here on table top I think the changes rung make for an exciting and as you said Fun revamp. The old game felt a little clunky to me. I think youl enjoy putting your spru together if you haven’t already started and have fun with the options. Interesting. I played back in the day (still have Japanese in my closet) and as others have said, it was cool, but a bit clunky. We’ll see what WC does with it. I’ve liked the initial FSA Updated rules. I am wondering about the cost/benefit of plastic sprues. They cost a lot up front, and need a lot of sales volume to Recoup. Hope it means they plan to really push it. I do know a major advantage for FSA and DW is the popularity of gaming mats. Both are played on non-standard tables, so being able to roll out… Read more »
