Racked up ready to paint. I wanted to paint them in such a way as to invoke the feeling of back-in-the-day John Blanche art. He uses a very sketchy style with a limited palette of mostly warm tones. So we will paint in that way - no neat blending or sharp edge highlighting here!Racked up ready to paint. Then just blocked in some colours, skin tones, silver for the metals etc. Not too much, just up to this level:

And that’s basically it, save for some small details, blood splatter, bases etc.
