The floorboards

I primed everything with leather brown Army Painter spray before moving to the floorboards.

I put the two pieces together and then tried to work out the lengths of the coffee stirrers I would need.

I wanted some cross over and it not to be uniform, but not so much overlap that when it was seperated it looks too odd, or leaving long planks beyond the base that may get snapped off.

I laid down and glued one side with pva and allowed it to dry.

Then I united the bases again and laid the corresponding half of stirrer to marry up with the glued down ones and I think they’d look convincing once painted.

You can see in the picture that I began trying out my paint scheme for the walls.
