Starting Abaddon and Loken
After finishing Alexis Polux and Calas Typhon it was time to choose my next project. I decided after some time that it would be Abaddon and Loken.
The recent releases of the paints of Lupercal Green and Sons of Horus Green helped drive this decision. I have always loved the rich green of the the Sons of Horus/Luna Wolves but had no obvious way of achieving it without some heavy mixing.
So far I based the Dirt and Rocks with a 50/50 mix of Citadel Rhinox Hide and Citadel Dryad Bark. The bones were covered with Citadel Zandri Dust. The grey stone started with a 2-1 mixture of Mechanicus Citadel Standard Grey and Citadel Dryad Bark. However I am leaning towards upping this to a 3-1 mixture as I want it to be more grey.
As for Loken’s armor it used a base coat of Citadel Lupercal Green and then a recess wash of Citadel Nuln Oil followed by a highlight of Citadel Sons of Horus Green.
