Wings of Doom
The next part of the project was to make some wings, i had a few ideas for this.
The first was to find a model i could kit bash them off but this would have been expensive and i could not find wings large enough. So i built a frame with bent coat hanger wire and sandwiched it between two layers of thin plasticard, this gave me the shape and i could bend the panels to shape also the wire ends were a nice and solid way of attaching the wings to the body.
The next step was to plan out the shape of the feathers to do this i cut out strips of plasticard in the shape i wanted and layered them on to the wings then using green stuff i sculpted the feathers.
I also filled the face in on the titans head with green stuff to give it a plain wraith style face. At this point the Titan had a single eye which i thought would be a cool idea but soon removed it as it looked a bit odd.
At this point i thought it would be cool to give the titan a single rifle style weapon a bit like a huge swooping hawk.
I got a generic laser gun toy from pound land and chopped it up and stuck it to one of the weapons that came with the titan. This was easier said than done as the cheap plastic toy did not stick that easily in the end i had to use araldite but it has done the job.
