Tabletop Ready Deathtroopers
It feels like ages since I’ve painted any Star Wars Legion minis so I was definitely glad to get to these recently.
As with the other Star Wars bits I painted I wanted to get them as close to screen accurate as I could. While they’re all black I didn’t expect them to be as easy as paint with one colour!

First Step, Basecoat of Grey SeerI painted up the Deathtroopers that we’ve seen in Rogue One and The Mandalorian, I’ve tried to replicate the colours you see on screen.
I think they’re not far off and they look great on the tabletop, which is of course the main thing!!
Paints I used:
Base Coat: Grey Seer
Armour: Contrast Black Templar/Vallejo Gloss Varnish
Detailing: Leadbelcher (silver) Helmet
Lights: Moot Green Helmet
Lenses: Warboss Green Base
Edging: Corvus Black
I can’t wait to get my games in with these guys, I’d definitely recommend you picking these up if you get the chance.
