The Wildhearts
Tweet of the day
Most days I find social media hard work.
I love the internet. I love using the ‘net, I love online communities, forums, and this little niche where people paint tiny little plastic figurines and create tiny little works of art for no reason other than a shared love of nonsense.
But social media can be difficult.
For every picture of a dog balancing a cornish pasty on its nose, there are many more warning of impending doom/global conspiracy/political malfeasance. Sometimes I feel like doom-scrolling through my Facebook feed is a trial, rather like watching the news during a natural disaster, instead of an enjoyable way to catch up with my friends.
But sometimes – when something like this happens – social media can be as joyful and entertaining as it always promises it is.
That is very very cool! I like me a bit of Wildhearts too. C2 is my favourite venue but I think for some reason I didn’t go to that gig. Last time i saw them was them at Download the other year. Super cool that Ginger has seen the project and likes it! I’ve got some goblins playing instruments and have been meaning to paint them up as the band Orange Goblin. Your skill on the diorama is a bit ahead of mine though!
I have some trolls (Rock and Trolls from Artisan Guild) and I recently printed an orc playing guitar (I forget when I got him from). Some goblins would be nice to add to them for the next diorama. Have you a link? I thought I’d try a properly interactive diorama with the green guys!
It was a stretch goal add on from this campaign (I think I only bought the goblin rockers in the and and not a BB team!)

If you can’t still get them I might just send you them – the chances of me getting to a diorama any time soon are slim!
