Bring out your Deaaaaad!

I’m not dead yet…. feel quite fitting in those times 😛

Anyways, I must admit that I have been sitting on some minis without photos for a while and also started to work in parallel on what 4 to 5 things which means that everything slowed down.

Luckily I did manage to finish some stuff! First of all, the start of my Cromwell Reconnaissance Squadron one tank for the HQ and a platoon of 3.

Nothing special on them, pretty much painted like them the shermans except for the tracks which went like so:

Beige brown 875
Black wash (GW Nuln Oil)
1# done here so the dry brush can be done on the tracks and tow cables
Oily Steel 865 drybrush

and as you got an oily steel drybrush the      #1 is for you to the the metalic bits in german grey 995 so once the oily steel shows up you can do it for it all!

For the weathering with the pigment I tried something different as I wanted those to look like they went through fields. You take the Mig Jimenez Pigment fixer, spread it on the part you want to weather and then saturate the area with the same pigment I use in the past. then wait for hours, usually I do wait more than 4 as I don’t want to ruin the work. and do that on the 4 sides separately:D

as for the Hessian Strips:
Dark Sand 847
US Dark Green 893
Overall brown wash

Without anymore due, here are the pictures

Also came around of doing the 2 Paks 40 from the open fire box. The Panzershreck from the said box and as I needed a second Panzerschreck team I dug through a SS box and found a team painted to its own scheme
