So these were 90% contrast paints.So how did I paint these so fast (6 hours or less).
Prime – black.
Prime – Wraithbone (zenithal)
Flesh Tearers Red – two coats.
Highlight with Mephiston Red and Wild Rider Red.
Shoulder pads are Skeleton Horde highlighted with Wraithbone and then white.
Blacks are all Abbaddon Black, with Grey Seer edge highlights. Aquila has a wash of Nuln Oil just to correct the shading.
Green glow is all Warp Lighting Contrast.
Bases are Scale 75 Arubuckles Brown with dry brush Scale 75 Mars Orange.

The cherry red is glorious. I tried a coat of fleshtearers and it looked.. brown – admittedly it was only one coat. Where am I going wrong? Does it need 2?
I used two coats. And made sure I shook the hell out of it and made sure it was two think coats. Also the highlights do help bring out the red tones.
Hullo, thank you – I’ll try two coats – I’m not a good painter so most of what I do involves a roller.
