Assault Veteran & Guard Captain (alt sculpts)
Rinse and repeat really.
For the Assault Veteran is using the same Vallejo Mecha Color Metallic Red (69.066) + Contrast Blood Angels Red mix that I used on the crossbow men previous for the red plate armour. This gives it a slight metallic sheen and distinguishes it from the cloth.
I think his cloak came out really well – just Contrast Red over zenithal but shows the cloak flow really nicely. It’s not quite so noticeable on the Guard Captain but its there as well.
As usual now I look at the photos I can see all my mistakes but thats greatly enlarged and at tabletop level/distance I think they’ll look good enough.
…and that’s it! All the Lannister’s from the core box and KS exclusives done.. phew.. I’ll summarize my thoughts in another post later this week…
