Working on my first squadron, Focke Wulf 190 A "Shrike"

Hey guys hope everybody is well, with my friend Mark putting together a lovely force of British made up of Spitfires and Mosquitos I felt it only fair to field an opposing force. I chose the Germans as they have many aircraft that really resonate with me.

I have decided to start with the Focke Wulf 190 A “Shrike” as it is a bit of a beast and didn’t feature at the Battle of Britain. I imagine this will mean most of our dogfights will be over France from 1941 onwards.

I went and did a bit of a tutorial video of how I went about painting my first one which I have edited down to around 20 minutes and I show all the colours used in it.

I am really happy with how it came out and am looking forward to working through the rest of the squadron now I have the colour schemes down.

I also have my eye on the newly released JU88C aircraft as I really like their look, so fingers crossed they will be my next purchase.
