Live Stream - Tank Clash at Prokhorovka (July 12 Anniversary)
The Sitrep Podcast is marking the July 12 anniversary of the Battle of Prokhorovka with a live game of PanzerBlitz between Jim and Gianna.
Part of the Battle of Kursk, the engagement at Prokhorovka is considered the largest single clash of tanks in history, with the bulk of eight armored divisions on a single field of 1943 southern Russia.
And yes, before you ask … Michael Wittmann was historically there, he was in his Tiger, and he will be on our table.
The stream is scheduled for Sunday, 7PM UK time (2PM Eastern US). We hope to see some of your there!

Thanks very much, @brucelea – in all honesty we are doing a small slice of Prokhorovka. Built a physical table of Prokhorovka once using the same hex size as comes in the box – it came out to 7 feet by 4 feet, and something like 1600 counters. That was way back in 1997 – I always wish I’d kept a photo of that table. I still have the counters (drawn in Microsoft Paint 3.1, so they’re kind of ass …) We also built it virtually for the 2018 Kursk series (75th Anniversary). Two days to build … but hell… Read more »

We’re all good thanks Jenn, 2019 was probably the crappest year and 2020 hasn’t had the best of starts but we’re all healthy and are in secure jobs, so very thankful for that blessing.
Hope you two are staying safe in all this madness and that you are managing to work (a little bit easier for Jim than you Jenn)
