It’s only right I start with the members of Delta one but I soon realised that it’s tough to see the colour palettes in game so off to the Internet for some colour schemes where I soon found that the high end toys were really good reference points

“It’s the Cole train baby, WOO!”“It’s the Cole train baby, WOO!”

First thing to note, the models are BALLS! To caveat, they are very nice but I get the distinct feeling that they weren’t sculpted but just transferred direct from the 3D models the use for the game. Now, I’m no expert and could be talking complete shite but I believe if they were traditionally sculpted they would have been much more suitable for painting as at the size they are the detail is almost impossible to pick out. That and for some reason, even after priming paints don’t seem to adhere very well, even after a wash in soapy water. I’m assuming it’s something to do with the pvc they are made from. Anyway, I still want a painted Delta squad so onwards!

Just realised I need a really dark metal  for the boots so I just painted black and drybrushed silver

Apologies once again Cole was finished late on a Friday night and in a boozey haze I forgot to take a few shots namely a brain matter Beige drybrush and a 2.1 mix of dark tone and wash medium.
