Star Wars Legion Painting Project
Getting Leia Organa on the tabletop
I picked up Leia a little while back and have finally got to her. I avoided painting her straight away as I wanted to do her justice.

Painting
I wanted her to be as close to screen accurate as I could. To be honest I’m more about the rule of cool than being that accurate but I wanted to recognise it was her really.
I therefore went through my paints looking at some reference images from the movies to get it as close as possible.
First was basecoating though, I did this with Wraith Bone so I could use some contrast paints (which is coming pretty common with my painting lately).
It was then onto getting some colour on her…
Weapons: Black Templar with a Leadbelcher Drybrush
Face: Contrast Gulliman Flesh, eyes-White Scar/Corvus Black
Trousers: Fenrisian Grey
Shirt: Contrast Skeleton Horde
Body Walmer: 75% Flayed one Flesh/25% Nurgling Green with a Nuln oil shade
Boots/Belts/Holster: Contrast Black Templar
Hair: Contrast Wyldwood
Base: Rhinox Hide with Zandri Dust drybrush
Finished Model
I think she turned out quite well, I has to play with mixing some paints for her body walmer as you’ll see in the video but she’s not far off from what I envisioned.
