The inspiration for this project came from reading the Dark Heresy Radical’s Handbook and seeing if I can create another Astra Militarum mini force but requisitioned by a member of the Ordo Xenos.

So, collecting together miniatures for this project that either need to be built, converted (kit hashed), painted or re-painted, I have:

Inquisitor Hector Rex and Retinue from Forge World as the proxy Radical Order Xenos agent along with his retinue.

FW Necromunda Bounty Hunter

FW Renegade Militia Torsos x20

Leman Russ Battle Tank

Chimera x 2

Dark Elf Cold Ones x10

More to be added as I develop the project.

According to the Fandom Warhammer 40K Wiki, the Mubraxis Dustdogs are similar to the Tallarn Astra Militarum, so that will give me the chance to set the miniatures in a desert setting when it comes to paint schemes and basing.

Mubraxis Dustdogs

The Mubraxis Dustdogs are Imperial Guard regiments whose martial culture strongly resembles that of the famous Tallarn Desert Raiders, but are ultimately less well known than those elite regiments. However, in recent years, the Mubraxis Dustdogs have begun to acquire some notoriety of their own, especially due to the part they played in the repression of the Donatos Uprising.
