Flagitum, Flagitum!
Plastic Glue, Cutters, Knives and a mat
First things first, I had to build them. The Romans were simple enough, single piece torso, stick on an arm and a head and glue to a penny washer, I left the shields seperate so I could paint the left legs and done. The Celts, ah, the Celts. Should have been simple but the ball joint waaist and a couple of the back poses made for some models being posed in a way that would upset many a Chiropractor. Then it was weapons and shields. With the open stance of the Celts I decided I’d glue them on before painting
and the Celts
The last image shows the rather squat positioning of the Celts. Odd, but bearable.
Once built it was time to get them undercoated
Have you tried Vajello Deck Tan if your looking for a whiteish undercoat
I’ve not, thanks for the recommendation. I find the contrast paints are a much richer colour over bone than grey
