Printed the miniatures I printed earlier again, this time with different supports and at 20 microns. I am still having this residue, it’s annoying. Is it because of the impurities in the water? Does this resin just not clean properly in water? Can I clean this resin in IPA? So yes, COVID-19 can you piss off so I can get some IPA at non-extortionate prices?

I would recommend a jewelry cleaning machine, they agitate the water a lot better and may help with that last bit of residue. You can also try using Simple Green or Mean Green (names may vary in your region) instead of just water (even though it is water washable) that may improve removing the residue. Definitely keeping an eye on your stuff as I’m interested in the water washable stuff myself.
I have no clue what the equivalent of simple green or mean green would be in the Netherlands. At the moment I am not interested in buying an additional machine for the cleaning at the moment, I have plenty of things to try right now anyway. But thanks anyway, I’ll keep it in mind.
The white stains are almost certainly uncured resin. IPA dissolves the uncured resin; I use screenwash in an ultrasonic bath to wash the uncured resin away (though it settles in the bottom of the tank and needs cleaning out every now and again). I wash the most of the excess uncured resin off, then give my prints 10 minutes in a jar with some IPA – agitate every now and again to really clean out the nooks and crannies. I’m pretty sure it is uncured until I post cure it where it turns white. The resin is supposed to be water washable, in a recent test (next entry) I kind of came to the point that it has an odd reaction to water. Because when I did not use water at all, they came out perfect.
