Great idea. I also backed Recon but was missively disappointed with the quality of the Minis. I did build mine and prime them, but they’re sat in a foam tray seeing how I was so annoyed with Megacon. Look forward to how this progresses.
Mercs was also the game that led me to discover BoW all those years ago when I was looking for some skirmish games and the boys had done some videos about Mercs.

Yeah working through these minis I have to say the quality is lacking but the poses are pretty cool. Looking at gameplay videos on YouTube has definitely spiked my interest again. If I think back I think it was this and Dreadball kickstarters that got me into BoW too.

Is this game still backed? Can you get the miniatures from some other distributor?

I think the company (Megacon Games) went bust a couple of years back. I’m not sure whether any other company has taken on the reigns for this game.
I haven’t really looked into whether people still play this game either, just didn’t want it to sit there forever.
