The wings are up first
So first picture is where they started white and ready for some action. I pondered just leaving them like that, after all they aren’t real wings they are just colorful ceramite. After a few minutes of looking at them I realized they were sort of BLAH, so I broke out my nuln oil to give them some definition, thus the second image. After that dried I though now they are way to blackish so I pulled out my makeup brush and did a white drybrush for a couple of layers and added some Ivory tones to the upper wings, just to give it some color variation.
I was pretty happy with the result. This is my 3rd set of wings for the first two I was just figuring out how I wanted them to go. I have touched up the ivory after picture 3 was taken.
