Burrows and Badgers
Start of the Warband
Been watching the weekender and Ben’s stuff of the Burrows and Badgers and got really interested so got on to Facebook joined the group which is really friendly and full of tips and guides and peoples beautiful painted minis. Michael and Joe together have come up with a beautiful looking game so i went on there website and ordered the rule book and a starter war band and my journey begins.
models are stunning with hardly any mould lines found which is great and come with nice bases. With models glued and put the green stuff on ready for basing i chose grey primer for these and the detail pops!
my first model painted is my hero of the band a Boarder Terrier which is an extra model i bought on top of the starter set as I’ve got two border terriers my self and was only right to have one to lead my war band.
as you can see lots of colours used just this one model with washes too and really pleased with how this turned out.
so i give you my leader Lord Earth Tor Fidget of Northymbra!
Now on to the start of the war band and to the smallest the mighty Mouse Shield Maiden called Rose she’s a nimble little mouse with a big heart and would do anything for her kinsman. And then there is the Black Adder Mage cunning and devious but a adder that would do anything to protect his Lord.
again a large amount of different colours used and washes with a mix of GW and Vallejo paints.
Still plenty of Burrows and Badgers to be done and last few days been working on the hare knight and squirrel wizard still using the GW and Vallejo paint seen previous. Basing the models with some self adhesive flowers and some flock with taller grass.
Finally all the models painted and based really enjoyed painting these models and highly recommend everyone to go check out this company.
Looking brilliant – can’t wait to see the rest taking shape too!
