Finishing The Base Coats
I did make some progress pictures but they came out a bit shite. So, with that in mind, I thought I’d just show off what the miniature looked like when I had done all of the base coats for the models.
I was genuinely not happy with the white (at all) but I thought I would grin and bear my way through it. Regardless of that, I thought that for a simple scheme – this is at least looking like the character from the movie/TV show haha!
After watching Duncan Rhodes paint the miniature I think I would have been happier just working this up from an off-white/grey and then using Contrast White over the top of it.
I think leaving it like that would have done a lot more to finish the overall look and keep it looking smooth as a whole.
