Apologies for no updates; I’ve been painting them still, just haven’t had time to upload bits to the PC.  Having finished all of the halflings on foot, it was time to make progress on the Thing Flinger.

Gor Grunta fur and an agrax earthshade wash for the fur on the Bullox.  Then drybrushed with a brown and finally bone colour.  The warmachine was painted brown, given a nuln oil wash and then a bone drybrush.  Then all of the details were picked out and the crew glued into place.

Buttercup

Having done that, it was time to finish Buttercup herself.  The horns were painted bone then given multiple dark washes towards the points of the horns before a drybrush of bone and white towards the tips.  Gives a nice effect.  Then the padding was picked out in my army colours

I have deliberately kept the warmachine separate from Buttercup for ease of storage.  When in use the 2 bits balance perfectly well and are structurally fine.  Even so, when together she’s lovely

Just the trollhound to go at this point
