Slow progress
I keep painting elements of the diorama, but at the same time I was hit by drop of motivation, mostly caused by lack of idea what to actually put inside. Also, the rollers cause some problems, some details are much less pronounced then others and I have major problems distinguishing their shapes and painting them properly.
As side note, I’m not sure of that emerald green I’ve introduced in one of the scenes. Any ideas what to use instead?
malachite was extensively used in Egypt, something like chromium oxide would give a similar punch as far as paint colours go to match I think park green from vallejo 969 or deep green 970 would be closest
Cheers @avernos.
I studied quiet a lot of pictures from actual sites and various museums and was astonished with how vivid the colours are after 4 000 years. That green also came out on one of the pictures. I used Emerald (838) which surprisingly is only one column to the left from deep green on their colour chart, so I was very close to your recommendation 😉 I’ll try the darker one.
cool, I look forward to it
