John Lord Zouche Regiment of Knights
This is the seventh regiment completed for my Kingdom of men army and it is John Lord Zouche’s Regiment of Knights, basically the elite heavy cavalry. Again as with the other regiments done I have based the banner of one used in the War of the Roses, John Lord Zouche.
Their livery colours are based on the banner of John Lord Zouche, which is Black and Red. I used this as the basis of the colours used to unify the look of the them. The black I used Vallejo Model Colour German Grey and for the red I used Vallejo Game Colour Gory Red.
The horses I wanted them as white or off white coloured horse, the famous Mufensteins of Valentica, breed for their looks as well as their prowess as warhorses. The horses were painted using Vallejo Deck Tan and a Vallejo Game Colour Wash, Sepia Shade, was applied.
