John Bouchier, Lord Benners, Regiment of Crossbows
This is my fourth regiment for my Kingdom of Men army for Kings of War and this is John Bouchier, Lord Benners Regiment of crossbows. Again the banner and livery is based on a real formation in the War of the Roses.
I have gone the the simple block the colours in, wash with Vallejo’s Sepia Game Colour Wash, Dipping Formula and then highlighted with the original colour.
I have gone for the same colours that are in John Bouchier, Lord Benners’ banner, using Vallejo Model Colour Flat Yellow for the yellow and VMC Uniform Green for the green. As I wanted these to be a sort of mercenary/semi profession looking company I added a Vallejo Game Colour Gory Red for the trousers to give a unified look across them.
