Got the models on the built in bookcase and found a small set of drawers/file cabinet to fit under the model bench.
Got things boxed up and labeled, using the last space in the closet that holds the comic book collection.
Organized and labelled projects in a multi drawer plastic organizer. 
The plastic bin drawers are lined with some heavy paper towels to keep everything for sliding around. They can be removed and set on the work bench so you can move your whole army/project at one time instead of individual pieces.
