Spring Cleaning: Frostgrave
Spring Clean Hobby Challenge
A year ago I completed a challenge to paint up a bunch of stuff and build papercraft terrain for Rangers of Shadowdeep on a tiny budget. My plan had been to follow on by having two projects posting at the same time – Frostgrave Fridays and Monster Mondays.
Frostgrave Fridays would be me painting up a warband and making a bunch of terrain for the game. A friend of mine and I were planning on playing out a campaign but he is notorious for not actually getting things painted so I had hope that the project might prompt him. Monster Mondays was going to be tracking painting the random monster table as I’m not used to painting just one or two of a thing 😆
So what happened? Snag-a-Normie 2019 came along and I did a big Middle-Earth SBG project instead. Then depression kicked my butt for the rest of the year.
So here we are, over a year later and at the launch of the 2020 SCHC. Initially I was going to go back and do more stuff for Middle-Earth which is also half finished. Then Osprey decided to be awesome and release some solo stuff for free to help everyone through the times we live in. Pivoting from a game for my friends to a game for me seems like a more sensible way to spend time right now so here we go!
