Let's get them built
If I’m going to paint them then I better get them assembled. I have to say it does feel a bit sacrilegious to open the box given how long they’ve been in it, but toys were meant to be played with.
There's a lot of empty space on these old sprues. 
Clipping everything out.
And now they're all built. That’s them built, which didn’t take me that long, a lot of them were single piece. Now I’m off to tidy the kitchen and if it’s still sunny later I might prime them.
